iPad Pro 11-inch Charging & Overheating Repair in Southampton – Another Device Saved!
A customer recently visited our A-Z Phones shop in Southampton with an iPad Pro 11-inch (4th Generation, Model A2759) that had stopped charging and was showing an overheating warning.
The customer had already been advised by an Apple technician to replace the iPad. Before spending money on a new device, they decided to bring it to us to see whether we could repair it.
After inspecting the iPad, our technician found a faulty charging port and a short circuit. We replaced the charging port, cleared the short circuit and carried out further testing.
The good news? The iPad was charging normally again, and the overheating warning had disappeared.

What Was Wrong With the iPad?
When the customer brought the iPad into our Southampton shop, it wasn’t charging properly and was displaying a temperature warning.
